IQM is a faculty within Dar al-Ulum Oxford. Dar al-Ulum Oxford was established to provide the Muslim community in Britain with proper Islamic education. It was established with the dua of notable scholars such as Shaikh Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi (رحمه الله).
The Institute for Quran Memorisation (IQM), Dar Al-Ulum Oxford is governed by The Oxford Islamic Society (OXIS). OXIS is a registered charity established in 1998 by the students of Shaikh Riyad Nadwi to support and advance the education of Muslim students in Oxford.
IQM is managed on a voluntary basis by an experienced team, all of whom have graduated from the University of Oxford. They hope to utilise the skills given to them by Allah, in the service of Allah's deen. Hafiz Imran Abu Hafsah leads the team of volunteers.
IQM has a team of paid teachers, male and female, each holding ijaazah to teach the Quran.
We are based in Oxford and aim to serve the community of Oxford. Covid-19 has meant all classes are currently online. We pray the situation will improve in the near future.
