The full Qur'an (30 ajzaa) is recited by learner to a qualified teacher. This is split into 5 levels. As the learner progresses through each level, the pace of learning quickens and more ajzaa are included in each level.

This system has two key advantages. Firstly, it allows the learner to achieve key milestones more easily at the beginning of the course so that the self-confidence of the learner is built. Secondly, it allows the teacher to focus on accuracy of recitation at the beginning of the course, rather than speed of recitation. This helps build correct tajweed and makharij habits in the learner.
